The Curriculum in the preparatory stage in Al Hoda Azhar School is not by all means different from what is taught in any other language schools in Egypt but, in addition we teach legitimate subjects which replace teaching religion in the preparatory stage. It is clearly and simply tackled and it is divided into phiqh, Sirah, Hadith and Tawheed:

phiqh: by the end of the prepatory stage, students will have been well acquainted with prayer, fasting, umra and hajj.

Sirah: the biography of Prophet Muhammad (peace upon him).
Hadith and tawheed.

Our students study some of the prophets' sayings (Hadith) and they have glimpse on the study of Tawheed.

As for the other scientific subjects, they are all the same as those taught in other language schools and they are taught in English.

The preparatory stage also marks the beginning of the exposure to a second language as French is taught starting from prepatory1.

Conditions for transferring from and to the Azhar preparatory stage

Students can transfer from any language school to the Azhar section at any stage till prep one but, they have to pass the aptitude tests prepared by the school as well as pass the Quran exam. Students at the Azhar section can transfer to any school before being registered in prep two (according to Al Azhar regulations).
